Users of the Port of Cotonou, especially drivers of trucks transporting goods, are reminded that by circular note No. 1424/22PAC/DG/DOPS/DCON/DOT of August 26, 2022, the Port Authority of Cotonou had granted a period of four (04) months for the regulatory slinging of trucks, so that from January 1, 2023 any truck not complying with this measure will be fined and banned from access to the port. It is brought to the attention of all port actors, the obligation to have an insurance policy, covering the risks related to their activities, in accordance with the regulations of exploitation and police of the Port of Cotonou, as well as the specifications and all other conventions binding them to the Port Authorithy of Cotonou.
